The train ride from Interlaken to Geneva was absolutely gorgeous. Mountains and lakes with patchwork vineyards along the coast.

I had a great stop in Ferney-Voltaire, France, right outside Geneva staying with friends. Wonderful hosts and it was fun to catch up with them and have some amazing home cooked meals. Roast chicken and ratatouille, crepes for breakfast, pork chops and salad, macarons - all delicious! I have missed salad traveling around!

We went for a brief tour at CERN, then to Lac d'Annecy for some lunch and swimming.

Mila and I went to check out the Fêtes de Genève, a huge festival along the shores of Lake Geneva. All ages of people out and about all night, having a fabulous time. Lots of fun!
Wandered through the market on Saturday - their weekly shopping. Great meats, cheeses, seafood, spices and breads.
